Additionally Blue Ventures’ Research Director Alasdair Harris has been selected as winner of the 2010 Young Conservationist Award, an award by the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas and the International Ranger Federation. The award aims to recognize and raise awareness of the outstanding contributions made by young conservationists to the management of protected areas and to the leadership they show. Alistair Harris will be presented at the Healthy Parks Healthy People Congress, Melbourne April 2010. View the full article here.
