Ashden Awards for Sustainable Energy (One award of $50,000; additional awards of $10,000). An annual competition to identify and reward organisations which have carried out truly excellent, practical, yet innovative schemes, demonstrating sustainable energy in action at a local level. Runs seminars to raise awareness of these technologies and to encourage others to follow.
